How do I prepare my ePoster?

You must first prepare a poster prior to uploading your ePoster.

Step 1:

Prepare a one page poster document in PowerPoint or Word. You can download templates to prepare an e poster.

Step 2:

Turn your document into PDF, PNG, GIF or JPG file format.

o   Language: All ePosters should be created in the English Language

o   Layout: Landscape

o   Size of Poster: One page (A4) maximum. Anything longer than a one-page document will not be saved in the system. In Pixels, the minimum recommended size is 2000 x 2000px and the maximum is 4000 x 4000px. In bytes, the maximum file size is 4 Megabytes (4MB)

o   File Format: Save your file as PDF, PNG, GIF or JPG in order to upload the ePoster

o   Pictures and graphs/tables: Pictures, graphs/tables can be included in the file


How do I upload my ePoster?

Step 1:

Open your internet browser and go to the ePoster submission site.

Step 2:

Enter your personal access information (username and password). The personal access information has been provided to you through email. Click on “Log-in”.

Step 3:

You will be taken to the Terms and Conditions page. Please read now the Terms and Conditions. If you agree with the Terms and Conditions, click on box “I agree to the following terms and conditions” on the bottom left side of the page. Then, click on the next button on the bottom right side of the page.

*If you do not agree with the terms and conditions, it will not be possible to upload the ePoster.

Step 4:

You will be on the ePoster Upload & Set Areas page. Click on “Upload ePoster” button. A small window (see image below) should appear on your screen.

Step 5:

Click on the “Add File” button and upload your file from your computer.

*You can only upload files that are in PDF, PNG, GIF or JPG format.

Step 6:

Click on “Start Upload” button in order to upload the file into the database.

*Once you click on “Start Upload”, you cannot remove the file. Please make sure the file you are uploading is correct.

Step 7:

If the status reaches 100% and a green check mark appears next to it, you have successfully uploaded your ePoster. Close the small window by clicking on “x”.

* Please make sure the file you are uploading is correct. If you upload the wrong file, please start from Step 4 and upload the correct file. The previous data will be erased.

Step 8:

Click on “Properties”. A small window (see image below) should appear on your screen.

Step 9:

If you would like to give permission for other participants to download a copy of your ePoster (in JPEG format), please make sure there is a check mark next to “downloadable”.

Under Poster lifetime settings, please make sure there is a check mark next to “During Meeting”. This will allow participants to view your ePoster during the conference dates. 

*If there is a check mark next to all three settings (“Before Meeting”, “During Meeting” and “After Meeting”), the maximum time that will stay in our system is three months. 

Step 10:

Click on “Set poster properties” to confirm the setting. Close the small window by clicking on “x”. 

Step 11:  

ePoster Area Setting Instructions – in order to zoom in to specific areas you can section your ePoster – Kindly click on set areas. A new page will appear as seen in the picture below:

o   Click on “New Area” in order to name and choose the various areas of your ePoster;

o   Define the name for the area (Objective, Conclusions, and Results etc.);

o   Move the square to the specific location of the area;

o   Resize the square based on the space of the area that you want to allocate;

o   Repeat the above till you cover the poster in full;

o   Save your poster.

Click on “Finish” Button. You have completed all the required steps.

How do I use the ePoster Viewer?

Step 1:

Go to ePoster Viewer kiosk on site or access the online viewer on the congress website – optimal via Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox.

Step 2:

Press search and enter a title, author, track, issue code or keyword. All abstracts that fall within the search word will be displayed. The ePoster viewer has 3 types of views. Choose between: gallery, list or thumbnail.

The search option allows you to look up a poster by typing a key word using the on-screen keyboard. Alternatively you can search by categories, abstracts, authors, speakers, poster number or country. When searching by country – you'll see a full list of submitter countries, so just select the country you want.

Each poster can be viewed as full screen and in the browser module the ePosters can be downloaded or printed if the Author has authorized such action. Each poster has an abstract embedded, a mini map that has a full bordering of the areas and also a list of area titles. 

The user can explore each poster by using our unique view types: Interactive Map that allows the user to zoom in to each area according to the areas that the author wanted to highlight and Slideshow which will present each area one after another as a slideshow.

Step 3:

Press on the ePoster of your choice to enlarge and get the full view of the ePoster.
