
Amir Kuperman, MD, received his medical degree from the Tel-Aviv University. Following his medical education he completed a "master degree in pediatrics" at the school of continuing medical education, Tel Aviv University. Dr. Kuperman is a pediatric hematologist, and a senior lecturer at the Bar Ilan University. He is the head of the blood coagulation service, the pediatric hematology clinic and the pediatric hematology day-care facility at the Galilee medical center. He also spends time in mentoring and teaching medical students and residents. He currently leads a genomic project at the bar-Ilan University. He is an active member of the Israeli society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. As the former treasurer of the Israeli Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, Dr Kuperman took part in organizing several national and international scientific symposia. He is married, has 3 kids and lives in a kibbutz in the northern part of Israel. His favorite hobby is the piano.
