![]() Gili Kenet, MD, received her medical degree from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Dr. Kenet is a Pediatric Hematologyst, professor of hematology at Sackler Medical School, Tel Aviv University.
She is Director of the Israel National Hemophilia Center in Tel Hashomer, Israel.
Dr. Kenet’s research projects have been focused on neonatal hemostasis, childhood stroke and pediatric thrombophilia as well as clinical research of new therapy modes applied for hemophilia patients, especially patients with inhibitors. She is an active member of the World Federation of Hemophilia, Israeli society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology.
Dr Kenet Chairs the Israeli Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and has chaired the Pediatric and Perinatal Hemostasis Scientific Subcommittee of ISTH.
Prof Kenet organized many educational symposia (both national and international) and published over 150 manuscripts, chapters in books and one Hebrew poetry book. She is married, has 3 kids and lives in Yehud, Israel.
