Mustafa Khasraw is a medical oncologist trained in Sydney with subsequent oncology fellowship in the United States at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Currently he is the clinical lead of the haematology-oncology clinical trials unit at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre in Geelong and is a consultant medical oncologist at Geelong and Royal Melbourne Hospitals. He is also a senior clinical lecturer at Deakin University and works also as a senior research fellow and clinical lead for the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre at the University of Sydney. He is the coordinating principal investigator and/ or study chair of a number of collaborative research projects and multi-centre therapeutic clinical trials across different tumour streams including The NEONAB neoadjuvant study in breast cancer.
He is the author of numerous manuscripts and book chapters and acts regularly as a reviewer for several scientific journals. He also serves on the advisory boards of a number of foundations including the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).
