Assoc Professor Shane White,
After completing his medical oncology training in Melbourne, Shane worked at the Christie Hospital in Manchester UK and completed a Doctorate in Medicine in 1999.
He is currently the lead clinician at the Austin in the Breast Oncology clinic and also attends the Lung Oncology Clinic. Shane is also the director of medical oncology at the Northern Hospital. He is an active recruiter in clinical trials, and is the principal investigator of breast and lung cancer research studies at both institutions. He is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group (ANZBCTG), and the Australasian Lung Cancer Trials Group (ALTG).
