Getting to Guilin:
By Air:
Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is located 28km southwest of Guilin City.
To Guilin City: Airport shuttle bus to the south of the city 20CNY/person; taxi to most hotels around 120CNY/ride.
To Yangshuo County: There is no shuttle bus. Taxi is around 300CNY.

By Train:
The time to travel from Guilin South station to Guilin North station is about 20 minutes. For foreigner visitors using Guilin south station is recommend, because it easy to find and conveniently located. Please book your tickets at least two or three days in advance. For holidays, book a couple weeks in advance.
By Bus:
Guilin is connected to most cities in Guangxi Province and many major cities in China, via modern and comfortable buses. There rapid expansion of new expressways has made travel to and from Guilin very easy. The buses service is primarily conducted from one main long-distance platform on 427 South Zhongshan Road. It is a 10-minutes walk up Zhongshan Road from the Guilin Train Staion.
Taxis:
Taxis are plentiful, clean, safe, and inexpensive in Guilin. They can be found at taxi stands in most busy city areas or hailed on the streets. An increasing number of taxi drivers nowadays speak some English which may prove extremely useful for first-time visitors.The fare system is based on the distance. Fares begin at 7RMB + 1RMB oil tax for the first 3 km and go up incrementally 1.6RMB every 1KM. From 11PM to 6AM the fare is a little bit higher. You can reach most places in town at only around 12RMB.
