One day tour: Guilin to Yang Shuo

Depart from the Shangri-La Hotel Lobby at 10:00 to Guilin Bamboo River pier for the Li River boat cruise.

The Li River cruise from Guilin to Yang Shuo is the centerpiece of any trip to the northeastern Guangxi Province. Gorgeous karst mountain peaks surround the crystal clear river.

 

Arrive at Yang Shuo in the afternoon and stroll along Yang Shuo West Street, which is the oldest street in Yang Shuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. While you enjoy the ancient culture of Guilin, you also can buy some handicraft, traditional cloth and other souvenirs.

“Impression of Liu San Jie” Show



Enjoy the “Impression of Liu San Jie” show, which is directed by Yimou Zhang. This is the world largest natural theater, which uses the waters of the Li River as its stag.

Return to the Shangri-La Hotel by bus.

 
SCHEDULE

08:30-10:00 Morning call and breakfast in the Hotel        

10:00-10:50 Pick-up from hotel entrance and drive to the Bamboo river pier

11:00-15:30 Cruise on the Li River, including lunch

15:30-17:00 Arrive at the Yang Shuo dock and stroll along on Yang Shuo West Street

17:00-18:30 Dinner at Yang Shuo

18:30-18:50 Bus pick-up to theatre to watch “Impression Liu San Jie” show

19:40-20:50 “Impression Liu San Jie” Show

21:20-23:00 Drive back to the Hotel by bus
