TRAVEL FROM AMSTERDAM AIRPORT SCHIPHOL (AMS)

Train: The direct train from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (AMS) to Central Station takes 20 minutes. For further information: https://www.schiphol.nl/en/page/by-train-from-schiphol/

Taxi Electric: This taxi service operates 100% electric cars which are equipped with free WiFi access and a tablet. All electric cars will apply by-the-meter tariffs with a cap on Schiphol transfers. Pick-up at the Schiphol Meeting Point is also possible and you can make a direct reservation for an electric taxi.

Taxi: Non-electric taxis will charge different rates and do not need a reservation in advance. Travel time to the hotel is approximately 25-30 minutes.

By car: Take the A4 highway towards Amsterdam. Take the A10 Eastern Highway (Ringweg) and take the exit S114. At the end of the Piet Hein tunnel, turn right towards Central Station. Follow the signs P-Piet Hein / City Centre. The Piet Hein parking garage offers electric car drivers the possibility to recharge their cars at charge points.

By tram (from Central Station): A tram stop is located in front of the hotel. Take tram 26 (direction IJburg) from Central Station and get off at the first stop, which is called “Muziekgebouw/Bimhuis”, which is in front of the hotel (adjacent to the Passenger Cruise Terminal).

Shuttle bus (from Central Station): The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus from Central Station. The hotel’s mini-van is a white Ford Transit for maximum eight people (including luggage space). Please book your seats in advance: +31 (0)20 519 1213. Please note this complimentary service is subject to availability. The shuttle runs from 7.00 am until 7.30 pm

Once you got down from the train platform, walk in the direction of platform 15 in order to exit the IJ-Zijde of the station. Follow the sign “Halen en Brengen” in order to reach the Kiss & Ride. You will find the shuttle which is a white Ford Transit and has Mövenpick signs on the front and sides. There are 2 Kiss & Ride areas at the Amsterdam central station: You will need to go to the Kiss & Ride West side as described above, not to the Kiss & Ride East side!
